‘Fake war’: very well put together. The big media (CNN etc.) are a joke. The devil loves to lie.

I don’t find this particularily shocking or even suprising. There were cases in Northern Ireland during the Troubles when media cameramen paid kids to throw stones at soldiers. The first casualty of war is indeed the truth. And when showing the truth is unavoidable there is always the editing suite!

Also I have seen photographs of Belfast streets where local people are on their doorsteps or standing around in groups watching a pitched battle between soldiers and youths. Looking, if anything, a little bored! Although I suppose it was a lot more exciting being a spectator at a live event compared to watching an edited version on the tv news!

Other photographs showed life going on as normal, women going to do their shopping, kids playing in the street, all seemingly oblivious to fully armed soldiers on patrol just a few feet away. When a conflict has been going on for years people can become dangerously blase about it.

The maker of this film has gone to a lot of trouble to prove that the Palstinian cameramen were setting things up. Computer graphics, different viewpoints etc. All done in a light-hearted, believe-it-or-not, kind of way. An impressive bit of invetigative reporting. I imagine his talents will be very much in demand for months to come, since the current onslaught on Gaza. But will he be able to prove so conclusively that every killing of a child was staged by Hamas cameramen, or the result of a genuine mistake? If he manages that he will deserve a medal from the IDF.

    ALAN
ITS VERY EASY TO MAKE A SWEEPING STATEMENT ABOUT INNOCENT CHILDREN BEING KILLED IN GAZA BUT THE POINT IS WHAT CONCLUSIVE PROOF DO YOU HAVE THAT THEY WERE AS INNOCENT AS YOU SUGGEST…..DON’T GET ME WRONG IN WAR THERE IS ALWAYS SOME REGRETTABLE INJURY AND EVEN ‘ FRIENDLY FIRE ‘
BUT HAMAS TRAIN THERE YOUTH FROM 4 UPWARDS YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE VIDEOS AND HAMAS USE THERE KIDS AS HUMAN SHIELDS YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE VIDEOS
ISRAEL TRIES DAMN HARD TO AVOID CIVILLIAN CASUALTIES YOU CAN WATCH ABORTIVE FOOTAGE ON VIDEO

ONE THING FOR SURE IS THAT HAMAS AIM THERE WEAPOS AT CIVILLIANS IN ORDER TO CREATE FEAR AND TERROR THATS WHY THEY ARE KNOWN AS TERRORISTS SO MAYBE YOU CAN TELL ME WHY THE MEDIA CALLS THEM MILLITANTS COS I THOUGHT MILLITANTS WAVED PLACKARDS NOT FIRED MORTORS AND ROCKETS ETC??

COULD IT BE MORE MEDIA DESTORTION OF THE TRUTH THAT GOES TO GREAT EFFORT TO MAKE ISRAEL THE BAD GUYS ???
